Rhinoceros Massively strong built animal of Africa, India, Southeast Asia. They are herbivorous , and are fond of wallowing in mud and in water. The male, white African rhinoceros may reach a height at the shoulder of six a half feet.

The African rhino has to nasal horns, and the asiatic, one (except the sumatran or the two horned rhinoceros ) . In Roman times they were shown in circuses.
