emubirdEmu This is are large flightless birds of Australia, related to the cassowary and the ostrich. Its height is 5 to 6 ft. and can be a very swift runner.

The head and neck are feathered. Also it lays dark green eggs in a sandy pit sometimes laying six of seven which are incubated by the male and require 56 days to hatch. The emu is easily tamed. There is only one of the living species.
